Former UP CM Kalyan Singh may face criminal proceedings in Babri demolition case

Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and recently retired Rajasthan governor Kalyan Singh may get entangled in the Babri demolition case following the lifting of immunity on his prosecution.

Talking to India Today TV, senior advocate Amir Ahmed said that Kalyan Singh was Uttar Pradesh chief minister when Babri Masjid was demolished, so he may be summoned by the Supreme Court for appearance in the 1993 case.
